brief.
Near Clapham Park, this four-story home mimics Victorian grandeur but required a contemporary soul. For a retired couple, we are orchestrating a complete spatial transformation, including a garage-to-utility conversion via a Lawful Development Certificate. We are stripping back the pastiche to instill a serene, fluid architecture defined by tactile warmth.

details.
he design language is a sophisticated dialogue between Organic Minimalism and Japandi aesthetics. We reconfigured the ground floor, relocating the powder room to forge a spacious vestibule lined with deep, integrated storage. Fluidity defines the architecture; lime-washed plaster walls curve gently, softening the transition to floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinetry. The palette juxtaposes the moody intimacy of the dressing suite—anchored by a floating stone bench—with bright circulation zones marked by sleek black metal and brushed stainless steel accents. Large-format Dekton flooring and full-height oak veneer joinery with precise shadow gaps create a seamless verticality, ensuring the home feels like a timeless, cohesive sanctuary.
